Westerhout Cremation Centre is located on the Westerhout estate, a strip of land in the dunes between Beverwijk and Wijk aan Zee. In the seventeenth century it was part of the grounds of a country house which belonged to the noble family Boreel, who hail from Beverwijk.

The road to the crematorium takes you through a green and natural environment. The crematorium itself has been built under our supervision using beautiful natural materials.

Many visitors to the Westerhout crematorium for pets and horses, which has been operating for years now, have been impressed by the beautiful location.

People who have availed themselves of our service often ask us: ‘Can I be cremated here as well? It is so lovely here, and peaceful.’ That gave us the idea of offering cremations for people as well.
